We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this mission trip, here's what I'm expecting...

I'm kind of not sure what to expect so far, but just to expect that God's going to be there with us, every minute, guiding the way. I think that God has a plan for each of us, whether it's for us to reach out to people that are lost and don't know God, or for God to give us a change of heart. I think my biggest goal is to just go in with an open heart and let God work.

I've never been away for a full month at a time, so it will be pretty different for me. I've always been a homebody, but for some reason I'm not too extremely worried about being away, not yet anyway. I'll definitely miss my home, friends, and my whole family like crazy.

I'm really excited to meet the team - as far as prayer request - just be praying for the team, and for God to use us and give us a safe trip.

The people I'm really going to miss while I am away:
