My Expectations of My Mssion Trip
My expectations?
Well, that’s so hard to answer all I expect from my trip is to be full of ministry and God. Many times we expect so much and don’t get.
I just expect cold weather and God, and new long lasting relationships with new friends!!
I’m so excited and I hope that this expectations is some what true!!
I’m soooooooooo excited about this trip. Being Called Specifically by God is a huge thing, and I’m so thankful for him choosing me to go out into a country and do his ministry and working for him.
The expectations I have are small, but then again I’m just expecting God to show up and work through me and all the other members of this team!
Those are my expectations.
Good thinking Girl! I made the mistake of “expecting”. I went to Haiti my sophomore year and it couldn’t have been more grand… because I was expecting nothing of what happened. I went to Guatemala a couple of months ago, and sadly I had been secretly expecting the same “greatness” to happen. Well, all that expecting lead me to a world of hurt, realizing that that trip can never be compared to my Haiti Trip. So you are going the right direction in not expecting anything out of it, because as well all know “God is mysterious, and thrilling… nothing he does is expectant to us, and is carefully thought out.”
