We were asked to write
a blog about how we were called to this mission trip. Here is my story. Of
course, being the babbler I am… It is so going to be hard to explain my
passion for missions in 300 hundred words or less. So in keeping with that, I
am going to try and give out a “list of things”. This way, it might
be easier to tag along to my writing!

One: I absolutely
and positively understand that God lives and endures EVERYWHERE!  And the people of this world have GOT to hear
of his great news!

Two: For some
strange reason (wink) God has given me the chance to share my story with
suffering girls in the U.S. and even in other countries already!

Three: When we
are given gifts, we sometimes have become scared out of our wits with what God
does with them. I included, but with every trip I go on, somehow (wink) things
get a little bit more comfortable and I am able to do the things he asks of me.

*The more emotionally
strenuous ones*
Four:
God has always been important to me. And has saved me from a world of
hurt, and is continuing to do so. I can’t just sit around , I have GOT to get
moving and let someone (or even the whole world!) know who God really and truly is.

Five: My life isn’t
right when I am not serving God the way he asks me to.

Six:  He keeps using me to reach others. IT’S AWESOME!!!!

Seven: Like most
people that love God and want to serve him, I have compassion for others. I
tried to explain to my mom why being a missionary to me is so important and
vital. Every time I go on one she asks me “why”, the only answer I can ever say
(being the absolute truth) is “because it’s not fair with me knowing about God’s
love and Saving Grace, and not telling anyone else about it!”

Eight: Things
wouldn’t be right if I didn’t listen to his plan in my life. The direction he
leads me. Why he does the things he does for me, and whispers his plans to me
through others around me.

Nine: I need to
see (Ireland being a great test of faith) if my stress level can actually handle
being a missionary for the rest of my life. This trip will (I know for sure)
give me guidance from God, and show me what he really and truly wants and asks
of me for the rest of my life.

And the last one:

Ten:  I wouldn’t be able to live with the fact that
I told God “No” when all he said was “Go”.
